Monica Bonvicini
Bonvicini installed a one way mirrored glass toilet near the river Thames in London. Its impossible to see into the toilet, which is free to use, but the person inside can see passer’s by. I think this work pushes the limits of public and private.
‘It will arouse curiosity because people can come see and just use it, although there is a question of whether people will feel comfortable doing so’

Perceptions of pain
If pain can be captured within an external representation such as an artwork, instead of within the body, then it passes from private individual hidden space into a visible, public and collective space.
Public/Private
Thinking about public and private persona’s and why we have them, does everybody have them. Thinking about masks and the idea that we are hiding ourselves. What it is that we are hiding?
